A Runner ScaleSet Listener pod is deployed by the AutoScalingListener Controller. The AutoScalingRunnerSet Controller calls the APIs one more time to either fetch or create a runner scale set in the GitHub Actions service before creating the Runner ScaleSet Listener resource. The AutoScalingRunnerSet Controller calls GitHub's APIs to fetch the runner group ID that the runner scale set will belong to. A new AutoScalingRunnerSet resource is deployed via the supplied Helm charts or a customized manifest file. Actions Runner Controller is installed using the supplied Helm charts, and the controller manager pod is deployed in the specified namespace.Once an optimum weld procedure is developed, stored and programmed, Arc Runner will repeat it over and over again.Note: To view the following diagram in a larger size, see the Autoscaling Runner Scale Sets mode documentation in the Actions Runner Controller repository. The oscillator allows for precise control of weave width, weave speed and left/right side wall dwell.Īrc Runner’s micro processor allows for development, storage and reproduction of up to 40 different welding programs for various joint configurations and multi-pass, multi-layer welds. The Arc Runner travels at full speed between stitches, which saves valuable welding time.Īn optional pendulum torch oscillator is available for the Arc Runner to produce weave welds. Two easy-to-use function buttons enable programming of weld length, distance between welds, reverse fill, crater fill time and other required patterns and parameters. The Arc Runner can be programmed in continuous or stitch welding modes. The unit enables weld bead geometry that is exact to the required specifications, substantially reducing costly over welding and decreasing filler metal usage. The powerful magnetic base and closed loop electronic speed control provide speed stabilization in all positions. The Steelmax® Arc Runner is a portable, programmable welding carriage designed to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
